Use Elster Creek as an outdoor classroom to explore nature, water and local ecosystems.
Discover Elster Creek and our urban waterways
Discover Elster Creek as a dynamic learning environment that connects students to local waterways and biodiversity. Schools can participate in classroom and field trip activities to explore the creek’s ecological and cultural significance. These experiences support hands‑on learning about water health, habitat and environmental stewardship.
Programs are delivered in partnership with local environmental organisations and align with curriculum outcomes, offering a meaningful way to bring sustainability to learn outside the classroom.
Learning programs
We can support facilitated programs for school groups that bring learning about urban waterways to life. Programs can be tailored to your year level and curriculum needs.
