Glen Eira is proud of our Centenarians and value them as treasured members of our community. We want to honour their incredible lives and stories and celebrate this important milestone.
Celebrating Glen Eira’s Centenarians
This year our Senior’s Festival opening event on Thursday 1 October is a Centenarian Celebration. We’re hoping to bring together our 100-plus year-old residents for a celebration of their amazing lives with a delightful high tea in the beautiful mansion ballroom at the Rippon Lea Estate.

Date: Thursday 1 October, 12pm–1.30pm
Venue: Rippon Lea Estate, 192 Hotham Street, Elsternwick
Eligibility
To be eligible the nominated person must:
- be aged 100 years or older
- live in the City of Glen Eira now, (or within the past 12 months if since moved into care).
- agree to be being nominated.
If you, a family member, or a friend has reached the wonderful age of 100 or more, we would love to hear about it. Please help us reach them by registering some details here so we can extend a personal invitation and provide all the details.
