    Planning scheme and amendments

    The Glen Eira Planning Scheme is a statutory document that sets out how land can be used, developed and protected. It includes planning policies from both state government and council. It also includes zones, overlays and other provisions designed to achieve the planning policy.

    The Victorian Government website has more information about how a planning scheme works and is structured.
