Yarning Circles
In partnership with the Department of Education, we are hosting a series of Yarning Circles for early years educators, in our community.
You will have the opportunity through shared conversation to develop an understanding of Koorie culture, history and experience. This ensures a strong foundation for culturally inclusive practices.
The Yarning Circles align with the Early Years Learning Framework and form a key commitment in the Marrung: Aboriginal Education Plan. This 10-year Plan supports outcomes for Koorie learners across all educational settings.

2023 Professional Learning Workshops
Riding the wave: exploring the updated Early Years Learning Framework
Professional learning opportunities sustain and inspire us. At their best, they are encounters that invite early years professionals to think together, as together as we make robust curriculum decisions.
Join Catharine Hydon (Hydon Consulting) as she guides us through the updates to the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia V2.0, 2022 and what it means to your daily work with children and families.
The workshops will be held in-person, allowing the opportunity for collaborative work and shared practice, to continue to build our professional confidence and practice skills.
The sessions are for all early years educators, educational leaders and nominated supervisors.
