The Glen Eira Home Energy Program (CHEP) helps residents make their homes more comfortable and cheaper to run.
Glen Eira Home Energy Program
The Glen Eira Home Energy Program connects residents with suppliers who have been vetted by the program, giving residents peace of mind and making their research phase easier.
Residents will be able to do the following home energy upgrades: draught proofing, insulation and home energy assessments.
For electrification work like solar, batteries and EV chargers, CHEP will connect residents with Easy Electric SEC. This program was called previously; as Solar Savers. We've updated the name to better reflect what the program covers today.
What is the program?
The program is delivered through CHEP and Easy Electric SEC, the state government's initiative that helps Victorian households switch from gas to electric appliances.
On the CHEP website residents can get quotes for thermal upgrades or click through to Easy Electric SEC for electrification upgrades. This connects with SEC’s statewide network of vetted installers, who can provide detailed quotes and trusted, expert advice.
