Afternoon Tea with Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears Exhibition
Are you a carer in Glen Eira or care for someone in Glen Eira?
Carers are invited to take a break and chat with other carers over a free afternoon tea at Rippon Lea Estate and then enjoy Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears Exhibition.
When: Wednesday 19 May 2021, 2.55pm for 3pm afternoon tea
(self-guided tour of the exhibition from 3.30pm to 4.30pm)
Where: Rippon Lea Estate, 192 Hotham Street, Elsternwick
Celebrating our carers — share your story
Do you care for someone? We’d love to know more about your experiences. Share your story and ideas and you can also include a photo that is special to you. To participate email email@example.com by Friday 25 June. In the email please include your full name and contact number. We will be in touch to send you a consent form to let us share your information.
To recognise and acknowledge the contribution carers make to our Glen Eira community and better understand our local carers these submissions will be published and displayed during Carers Week in October.

At Classic Cinemas, the Glen Eira Storytelling Festival will celebrate the role of carers in our community with a free viewing and a chance to connect with other carers over coffee at the movie Never Too Late on Wednesday 30 June. Numbers will be limited and bookings essential.
Save the date for National Carers Week in October
National Carers Week is a time for all Australians to recognise and celebrate the important contributions carers make to their families, friends and our community.
We are planning several events for carers in Glen Eira during National Carers Week during 10–16 October 2021.
