Environmental Stewardship Advisory Committee

This committee supports Council’s work to promote environmental leadership and deliver the Climate Emergency Response Strategy Refresh 2025–2029. Members will provide advice and insights on:

• climate action and emissions reduction

• protecting and enhancing biodiversity, parks and urban forests

• improving air and water quality

• reducing waste to landfill and supporting a circular economy

• strengthening community understanding of environmental challenges and opportunities

• helping engage the community in Caring for Country

The committee plays an important role in shaping a more sustainable and resilient future for Glen Eira.
