Responding to family violence — training session for salon professionals

Calling all salon professional to join us for a specialised Hair3Rs training program which is designed to give those working in the hair and salon industry the tools to confidently respond to someone experiencing violence.

During the session, participants will learn how to:

  • recognise the signs of family violence
  • respond to disclosures and understand how to appropriately ask questions
  • refer to professional support services

“The training dispelled my anxieties on how to help my clients who may be victims of family violence. Now, I feel more confident in how to safely respond, rather than feeling like a helpless bystander” says Hair3Rs past participant.

The session will be facilitated by FVREE — a specialist family violence service.
