Responding to family violence — training session for salon professionals

Join this free Hair3Rs training event which is designed to give those working in the hair and salon industry the tools to confidently respond to someone experiencing violence. Designed and delivered by FVREE.

While this training is tailored to beauty sector professionals, the skills and strategies shared are highly transferable and valuable for anyone working in customer-facing roles.

Based on the Recognise, Respond, and Refer framework, the training will provide the tools to confidently respond to someone experiencing family violence.

During the session, participants will learn how to:

recognise the signs of family violence
respond to disclosures and understand how to appropriately ask questions
refer to professional support services
