Carnegie Children's Multipurpose Centre

Our Children's Multipurpose Centre in Carnegie is designed for use as a children’s playgroup (or for birthday parties) for up to 20 youngsters. With a spacious but enclosed outdoor area with rubber soft ground and sandpit, it offers you peace-of-mind that your children can run free in a safe environment.

Availability

  • Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8am until 10pm each day.

Inside, there is enough room to allow for several activities to be conducted at once and all in plain view of parents. There are ample toilets and a kitchenette available with only a convection microwave oven.

COVID-19 — Venue bookings update

Council venues are open for bookings. Council uses the Victorian Government QR Code service to check-in attendees, for the purposes of contact tracing. All Venue Hire guests and attendees must check-in to their booked facility using the Service Victoria QR code provided.

People who are considered fully vaccinated

You are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for the purposes of attending a venue if you:

  • have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, or
  • have a valid medical exemption to COVID-19 vaccination issued by an authorised medical practitioner, or
  • are under the age of 18 years.

If you can show evidence of any of the above, you can enter a venue as if you are fully vaccinated. Find out more on how you will be permitted to show your vaccination status.
