History Trail Passport

Collect your free History Trail Passport from our libraries and explore the rich history of Glen Eira this summer!

Go on a journey with your Passport, visiting historical sites all across Glen Eira and learning more about the history of the City. There are eighteen sites in the Passport, with fascinating facts about each one to discover. How many places can you visit?

Visit at least five sites and answer the questions in your passport to get a stamp — and go in the prize draw!

Head to any of our libraries to collect your History Trail Passport and get started. After visiting five sites, return to any library and show staff your answered passport questions. They’ll stamp your passport and enter you into the prize draw.

Important things to know

Prize draw rules

  • Collect your Passport from Monday 15 December at Bentleigh, Carnegie, Caulfield or Elsternwick Library.
  • You must visit at least five sites and answer the question about the site by writing the answer in your Passport.
  • Return to any of the libraries and show staff the answered questions in your Passport.
  • You do not have to return to the same library where you collected the Passport.
  • You will need to complete an entry form and provide contact details to enter the prize draw.
  • You can only enter the prize draw once per person.
  • The prize draw closes at 5pm on Sunday 25 January.
  • Prizes will be drawn at random from all valid entries received on Tuesday 27 January at Glen Eira Town Hall.
  • We will notify the winners by phone or email.
