Community buses

We provide and maintain four community buses for use by not-for-profit organisations and community groups such as scouts and guides, schools and church groups.

Our buses are available 24 hours per day, 52 weeks per year. They include:

  • two 12-seater buses, holding a driver and up to 11 passengers
  • one 12-seater bus sponsored by Bendigo Bank, holding a driver and up to 11 passengers
  • one nine-seater bus with a wheelchair hoist and space for two wheelchairs.

How do I book a bus?

To book a community bus, call Connect Health Community Transport on 9575 5386.

If you want to hire a bus, you must complete an application form, agree to and sign our Conditions of Hire form, and provide a copy of your current drivers licence.

You don’t need a special drivers licence to drive the community buses, but you’ll need a full driver's licence. Probationary drivers can’t drive our buses.
