This is a particularly large, well-formed and healthy example of a Lilly Pilly to be found growing as a street tree in Glen Eira. It has a rounded and spreading canopy with good foliage density that makes it striking in the landscape and makes a major contribution to the neighbourhood character and streetscape. This tree provides substantial amenity to the community.

As a native, flowering and fruiting tree it is a vital food resource for a range of native wildlife. It is regularly observed hosting multiple native bird species during the day.
