This tree has significant canopy spread and outstanding trunk girth for a mature street tree. It is the largest tree in the street and the largest, healthiest example of a Corymbia ficifolia in the surrounding area.

The size of this tree within a small suburban street makes is striking within the local landscape. It provides significant canopy coverage which shades the road surface and footpath, making a major contribution to the neighbourhood character. The loss of this tree would be a substantial loss of amenity to the community.
