It is a particularly tall tree with a high visual presence from the public realm in all directions and is a significant landmark feature of the neighbourhood, particularly for road users as the tree sits alongside a busy intersection of the municipality. This tree is also significant in conjunction with another nearby Bunya Pine of similar size and age.

    Given its size, age and prominence, this is an outstanding example of the species within Glen Eira.
