Exhibitions

Our gallery program features regular curated survey and thematic exhibitions, including the works of established and emerging contemporary Australian artists and a series of dynamic public programs for children and adults. The gallery program also includes hire exhibitions by local artists, schools and community groups.

Glen Eira City Council Gallery temporary closure

The Gallery will be temporarily closed for routine maintenance works throughout April.

We look forward to welcoming back visitors when we reopen on Friday 3 May with the impressive Confined 15 exhibition presented by The Torch

Confined 15 presented by The Torch

3 May–2 June

Confined 15 includes artworks by First Nations artists currently in or recently released from prisons across Victoria. Featuring a diverse selection of over 400 artworks by more than 380 artists, Confined 15 presents a strong visual metaphor for the over-representation of Indigenous people in the criminal justice system and showcases the power of culture in the process of healing and reconnection.
