Our Student Achievement Awards program recognises outstanding achievement by students from secondary schools within Glen Eira. Applications open Monday 10 October 2022.

Nominations for Student Achievement Awards open Monday 18 October at 12pm.

Who is eligible?

To be eligible for a Student Achievement Award nomination, students must be attending a secondary school in Glen Eira. 

Nominated student should be a role model for other students and the community, and show outstanding achievement or leadership skills in one of the following:

  • academia
  • arts and culture
  • community service
  • volunteering
  • education
  • environment
  • science and innovation
  • health and wellbeing
  • sport and recreation.

Nomination process

Each Glen Eira secondary school can nominate one student per secondary year level.

Nominees will receive a certificate and a non-cash prize*.

We encourage you to consider a student candidate for the Young Citizen of the Year Award. This recognises young people for achievements, volunteering and leadership in the broader community. Find out more on our citizen and community group awards page.

*Prizes will support local Glen Eira businesses wherever possible.
