Your Space is an opportunity for young people to connect with the Youth Services team and other young people from Glen Eira.

Drop-in program

Our Drop in’s is a rotation of interest-based activities that young people are invited to attend.

Each week there will be different activities run by Youth Development Officers ranging from:

  • Book clubs
  • Movie chats
  • New Kids on the Block — young people who are new Glen Eira
  • Boardgames
  • Homework clubs
  • Arty afternoons
  • Meditation and mindfulness sessions
  • Pride Network
  • Other topics of interest to young people.

When: Weekly on Wednesdays from 4pm to 5.30pm (during the school term)

Where: McKinnon Library and Youth Services, Djeembana Room, 169A McKinnon Rd, McKinnon

Who: Young people aged 10 to 25 years old who live, work, or study in Glen Eira.

Press Start

Press Start is a positive social gaming experience where you'll learn healthy gaming habits and play multi-player games. Not only do Press Start participants try a variety of PS4, Xbox, Steam, Nintendo Switch and tabletop games each week, they also have a chance to share common interests and connect with others

When: Weekly on Mondays from 4pm to 5.30pm (during the school term)
Where: Duncan Mackinnon Pavillion
Who: Young people aged 10 to 18 years old, who live, work or study in Glen Eira.
