Be empowered to embed circular economy practices into your business and find out how this can benefit you through our six-week online training program — back again in 2025.
Going Circular training for businesses: Uncover the Hidden Potential of Circular Economy
Our Going Circular training program helps local businesses to Uncover the Hidden Potential of Circular Economy through upskilling, networking and supportive consultation.
Previous participants gained extensive knowledge of how to transform their business practices to maximise the potential of the circular economy.
The term ‘circular economy’ refers to the system of reusing, repurposing and recycling resources. In a perfect circular economy, all the materials used in products would be recovered, reprocessed and reused in a continuous loop. Nothing would go to waste and end up in landfill.
Embedding circular economy principles into business practices drives financial, environmental and social outcomes for the business and for customers.
This program is a Council initiative to help local businesses reuse and repurpose their waste to reduce landfill. We are partnering with Circulise, an expert on circular economy, to deliver the program.
