Youth Events and Leadership Team – recruiting for 2024
When: Weekly on Thursdays, 4pm–5.30pm
Where: Bentleigh Library and Youth Hub, 161 Jasper Road, Bentleigh
Who: Young people aged 15 up to 18 who live, work or study in Glen Eira
The Youth Events and Leadership Team (YELT) is a year-long program designed to provide young people with experience in event management and develop their leadership skills and training. Expressions of interest for 2024 are open!
YELT meet weekly during the school term to design, develop and deliver youth events, including the Youth Art Exhibition and Youth Fest activities. They focus on teamwork, leadership and employability skills through innovative and creative programming that inspires new ideas and confidence in participants.
We are looking for young people with diverse interest and experience to ensure our youth events are accessible, and fun. Opportunities for 2024 include project management, public relations, financial officers and more.
