Early learning centres
There are three early learning centres in Glen Eira, located in Carnegie, Caulfield and Murrumbeena. Each offers full day care and kindergarten programs for children from six months to school age.
On 3 October 2023, Council made a preliminary decision to close its three Early Learning Centres in Caulfield, Carnegie and Murrumbeena (the Centres). Council will continue to accept enrolments and waitlist applications at its Centres on the condition that the applicant acknowledges that they understand that if a decision is made to close the Centre at which the applicant has an enrolment, then the final day of its operation is likely to be 21 December 2023.
