Co-working is a great way for business to collaborate and learn — and it's more popular than ever.
Co-working in Glen Eira
What is co-working?
Co-working is when different business owners and professionals share office space. It creates a collaborative environment and a sense of community which you may not get from working in isolation.
How popular is co-working?
Co-working has become an increasingly prevalent topic during our work with the business community.
A Knight Frank investigation shows that co-working grew by 62 per cent across Australia in 2017, with more than 300 co-working spaces now in use. Almost 50 per cent of these are in Melbourne.
What are we doing to help?
We’re focused on understanding the benefits of co-working, and exploring how we can support this valuable and collaborative approach.
If you operate a co-working space and want to speak to us, contact Council's City Economy and Place Making Team on 9524 3333.
