Inspired by the wild spaces that exist within and around us, UNEARTHED is an immersive experience that will captivate audiences of all ages.
UNEARTHED: immersive digital installation
Immersive lighting, 3D projection mapping and sound technology combine to create a space for audiences to access a microverse — a parallel universe and digital landscape, explored via their smartphones.
Featuring contemporary re-workings of images of First Nations shields, enlarged images taken under microscopes, and a soundscape fusing spoken word, electronic music and local stories — the installation surrounds audiences for an experience like no other.
This innovative collaboration brings together local artists PluginHUMAN, Yorta Yorta artist Lorraine Brigdale and Mumbai-based new media artist Akshat Nauriyal.
PluginHUMAN is a multi-award-winning art duo led by artists Dr. Betty Sargeant and Justin Dwyer.
