Koorie Chill Out 2022

A family-friendly evening of ceremony, culture and music to acknowledge what the date means to First Nations’ Peoples and to strengthen understanding, respect and reconciliation.

This year the Koorie Chill Out will start with a Wurundjeri Healing Ceremony followed by a Boonwurrung Smoking Ceremony. Popular Gunditjmara singer-songwriter David Arden will provide a musical performance and there will be a free barbeque.

In 2021, Glen Eira City Council won a HART (Helping Achieve Reconciliation Together) Award from Reconciliation Victoria for its response to 26 January, and we hope for an even more successful event this year.

All welcome.

To be able to participate in this event, you will need to have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine (or have a medical exemption).
