Indigenous flora and fauna walk @ Mallanbool Reserve

Mallanbool Reserve is more than just a park. We invite residents to join us on the last day of the Seniors Festival with this fascinating guided walk followed by a light lunch.

It’s a cultural and botanical trail on the history of the original inhabitants of the area, the BoonWurrung people of the Kulin nation.

Guided by a representative of the Boon Wurrung Foundation we will be taken on a journey through the First Nation people’s way of life, which included harvesting plants, fishing and hunting.

The botanical element outlines the native plant life that was abundant before European settlement.

Meet at Frogs Hollow Playground Packer Park, Leila Road Murrumbeena.

Bookings essential by Tuesday 29 October.
