Food in the first 12 months

A Glen Eira maternal and child health nurse and a dietician will discuss the latest guidelines about infant feeding in an online session.

Glen Eira City Council in partnership with Connect Health and Community and Caulfield Community Health Services is providing free information sessions about food in the first 12 months.

“Introducing solid food at around six months is necessary to meet the infant’s increasing nutritional and developmental needs.” NMHRC Eat for Health: Infant Feeding Guidelines 2013.

Registration is required before the session.

For further information, contact Maternal and Child Health on 9524 3403 or speak with your maternal and child health nurse at your next appointment.
