Earth Hour movie screening

Join us for a screening of The Lorax followed by sustainable craft activities. We will make bug hotels and seed bombs.

The Lorax is about a 12-year-old boy on his search for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams.

To find it, he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.

Every year, hundreds of millions of people around the world mark Earth Hour by going ‘lights out’ for 60 minutes at 8.30pm in a symbolic show of solidarity.

Glen Eira City Council will be turning off the lights at all of its main buildings between 8.30pm and 9.30pm. Don’t forget to turn your lights off at home.
