All about home-scale aquaponics

At this workshop, led by Jonathan Martinetto from Aquaponics Revolution, you’ll see the small-scale aquaponics system in action at the community garden, learn about the principles of aquaponics and how to set up and maintain your own system.

Aquaponics is a form of gardening where plants and fish live in a beneficial relationship, helping each other to thrive. Herbs and vegetables grow by taking up nutrients from the fish waste, and in return the plants clean and filter the water.

Free event and stay for a sausage sizzle and plant sale afterwards.
