In accordance with Road Management (General) Regulations 2016, (Regulation 10) Glen Eira City Council gives notice that it intends to amend its Road Management Plan (RMP).
The purpose of the amendment is to improve the description of Council’s responsibilities as a road authority under the Act, in line with a review of the current document conducted in 2017. The Road Management Plan (RMP) details the maintenance standards, inspection regimes and the priorities to be given to the inspection, maintenance and repair of the roads. The proposed amendment will apply to all of the roads and classes of roads to which the RMP applies.
The roads, classes of road and road related infrastructure that Council inspects, maintains and repairs in accordance with the RMP, are listed in Council’s Register of Public Roads. The Register is not an incorporated document in this Plan.
Copies of Council’s Proposed Amended Road Management Plan, the current RMP, the RMP Review and Amendment Reports are available on Council’s website and may be inspected at Council’s Customer Service Centre, Town Hall, corner Glen Eira and Hawthorn Roads, Caulfield South.
Any person may make a submission to Council on the proposed amendment by no later than 5pm, Friday 14 September 2018.
