New COVID-19 grant program for small businesses

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the opportunities available online for innovative local traders.

The COVID-19 Response and Recovery Small Business Grant is available for small businesses (with an annual payroll of less than $650,000) in Glen Eira that want to increase their capacity to reach existing and new markets through online technology and e-commerce.

The Grant offers funds up to $2,000 per application for online and e-commerce activities which could include: hardware; software; services in website design and development; online commerce platforms; online content development; digital marketing and promotion or mentoring; and training in online e-commerce.

Applications will be assessed against eligibility requirements, demonstrated innovation, and the ability of the business to benefit from online, e-commerce support.
