International Women’s Day 2020: photographic exhibition

To celebrate International Women’s Day in 2020, we are planning to host a three week community photographic exhibition to honour the women of Glen Eira.

Submission period extended to Tuesday 31 December 2019.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate a woman in your life!

This exhibition will be an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate our local women: their different faces, roles, achievements, passions and their contributions to our community.

To commemorate this special day, we invite community members of all abilities and backgrounds, aged 12 and over, to submit a photo of a woman (including young women) of Glen Eira who you admire, who inspires you, makes you smile or adds colour and meaning to your life.

This community-inspired photographic exhibition will be formally launched on International Women’s Day on Sunday 8 March 2020 and displayed in Council’s Gallery between 5 and 22 March.

Applications open Monday 16 September and close Tuesday 31 December 2019.
