Executive Assistant - Infrastructure and Open Space

  • Work in partnership with Director to support delivery Glen Eira's transformational program of works
  • 12-month fixed term contract Flexible work options available
  • $71K per annum + Superannuation

 About the role
Are you a proven Executive Assistant looking for an engaging 12-month placement? Reporting to the Director Infrastructure and Open Space you will manage the office and actively support corporate change initiatives. Each day will provide new challenges and opportunities to make a contribution, from making recommendations on process improvements to and meeting coordination and minute taking.

You will know the importance of having a trusted relationship with your Director, flexibly managing their diary, keeping them up to date with any changes, being prepared and available for events, meetings or conferences. This includes managing routine correspondence, reports and presentations for the Director.

About you

As an Executive Assistant you will have extensive administration experience and know the importance of tact when influencing key stakeholders.  Ideally you will have worked in local government and will know the importance of integrity and confidentiality when working in collaboration with stakeholders, delivering critical services to our community. 

Whilst excellent communication skills, flexibility and results focus are important for success in this role we are also looking for someone with a strong team focus with the ability to build connections with the Directorate and across council.
