Council meeting agendas and minutes

Agendas for Ordinary and Special Council Meetings are available on the website, from all Council libraries, and the Service Centre, from 12pm on the Friday preceding the meeting.

Public questions may be submitted either online, letter, fax or email by midday on the day prior to the Council meeting. For further information, visit the Public questions webpage.

Public participation at Council meetings is available if you wish to ask a brief question or make a statement relating to Council’s role, functions or business.  For further information, visit the Guidelines for Public Participation at Council Meeting webpage.

Live-streaming / Webcasting of Council and Special Council Meetings - Ordinary and Special Meetings of Council are
live-streamed to provide the community with greater access to Council debate and the decision-making process. View the live webcast here.

Please note: All care is taken to maintain privacy with cameras directed towards Councillors. The microphone placed in the Council Chamber, for a member of the gallery to participate at a Council meeting is not situated within camera range, however, by attending and participating in a Council meeting you consent to the possibility that your image, voice and personal details may be broadcast to the public. Media seating is within camera range. 

Petitions may be submitted to Council by members of the community. For further information on petition requirements, visit the Petitions webpage. If you have any questions, contact the Coordinator Councillor Business on 9524 3333.

Submissions made under Section 223 of the Local Government Act are not confidential and will be incorporated in full (including all personal information) into the agenda and minutes of the Council meeting at which they are considered. They will also be published on Council’s website as part of the relevant agenda and minutes and must be made available for public inspection in accordance with the Act.
