Practical tips to support breastfeeding mothers

The DVD profiles two families and two health professionals discussing the importance of the family’s support and strategies they can use.

Research shows that mothers who are well supported by their partner and family are more likely to successfully initiate and maintain breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding is a family affair has been produced by the Bayside, Glen Eira and Kingston City Councils’ Maternal and Child Health Services, together with Sandringham Hospital Maternity Services, in order to help increase breastfeeding rates.
