Mobility maps

This series of maps has been developed to assist people with disabilities or mobility difficulties to navigate our local community more easily. Nine maps have been developed for the main shopping strips in Glen Eira and contain useful information such as the location of accessible parking bays,toilets, bus and tram stops and pedestrian crossings.

Getting around Glen Eira


Glen Eira is well serviced by trains (Frankston and Pakenham lines), trams and buses. Public transport is increasingly accessible for people with disabilities, and all train stations in Glen Eira are wheelchair accessible.


Many of Melbourne’s bus services are wheelchair accessible. Bus companies will try to schedule a low-floor bus for you, provided adequate notice is given.

Tram routes 3, 5, 16, 64 and 67 service Glen Eira.

Currently, these routes do not use low-floor trams and are not accessible to people using wheelchairs.
