Presented in association with the 2017 Glen Eira Storytelling Festival
This exhibition investigates themes of storytelling, mythology, fairytales, identity and fantasy addressed in the artworks of major Australian artists, including Polixeni Papapetrou, Amanda Marburg, Michael Doolan, Charles Blackman, Mirka Mora Jacqui Stockdale and Kyoko Imazu. The diverse interpretations of the fairytale narrative and its enduring allure in contemporary culture, is explored in the exhibition.
