Waste services include provision of a 240 litre or 120 litre general waste wheelie bin (plain lid) and a 240 litre recycling wheelie bin (yellow lid) for paper,cardboard, bottles and cans.

A 240 litre green waste wheelie bin (bright green lid) is provided for those who register for the green waste service. Download an application form on the green waste web page.

If bins are damaged, please advise Council and they will be repaired or replaced.

Council offers an on call collection of hard rubbish and bundled branches, for items which cannot be collected in other services.

How to place your bins out to be collected
 Place all garbage in bags to prevent spillage and street litter when your bin is emptied.
 Do not overload or overfill your bins (maximum 75kg).
 Do not place items on top of or beside your bins.
 Place bins out the night before collection.
 Place your bins with the wheels facing away from the kerb.
 Leave at least an arms length (0.5 metre) between bins and other objects.
 Avoid trees and overhead power lines.
