These rules cover many aspects of daily life — from practical safety issues to more aesthetic considerations. This website provides information on these rules and requirements — everything from keeping footpaths and walkways clear of debris and vegetation and sharing the available parking fairly and equitably, to reducing risks and hazards and cleaning up after dogs. Council encourages all members of the community to take responsibility for maintaining Glen Eira as a safe and pleasant place to be by having regard for each other and by complying with the local laws.
