| Council provides services for the older members of the Glen Eira community and residents with disabilities — health care, social programs and personal support. These services range from low level support for those who are still living independently in the community, to higher levels of care in hostels and nursing homes.
Council aims to support all members of the community in pursuing the lifestyle they choose, to provide an appropriate range of services at affordable rates to suit the diverse needs of the community, and to ensure the availability of a network of programs and resources to allow those who choose to stay in their own homes to do so as long as possible.
