| Council has many facilities for hire suitable for all your needs, whether you are planning a special event or looking for an economical meeting room.
The Glen Eira Centre, located within the Glen Eira Town Hall, has six impressive and versatile rooms which can accommodate 12 to 500 people and are affordably priced to suit any occasion. Recently refurbished, they combine 1920s elegance with modern furnishings and style in the heart of one of Melbourne’s most beautiful heritage areas.
The Carnegie Library and Community Centre, located in Shepparson Avenue, Carnegie, has a number of rooms available in this newly constructed building. The Centre has flexible meeting rooms that can accommodate seven to 80 people.
Both centres have on-site and street parking, are close to public transport and are accessible for people of all abilities.

| Public halls and recreation facilities | | Council has many public halls and recreation facilities available for hire for use for a specific event or regular meetings for community groups.
The venues range is size, are clean and comfortable and are conveniently located throughout the municipality. Facilities range from public halls, social rooms, picturesque parks and rotundas.
