The Commonwealth Government’s $42 billion Nation Building Economic Stimulus Plan includes the Building and Education Revolution program (BER).
Through the BER, the Commonwealth and State Governments aims to provide economic stimulus through the rapid construction and refurbishment of school infrastructure.
All Victorian planning schemes have been amended to exempt non-government school proposals that have Commonwealth funding from needing planning permission.
Either a private building surveyor, or the Planning Minister decides on the proposal.
