Property owners who believe details on their rate and valuation notice are incorrect, should notify Glen Eira City Council in writing. Instructions and alterations made on the notice itself are not acceptable.
We must be notified in writing for all changes of postal address. Any change of postal address (example: PO Box or Agent etc.) must also include your residential address. To obtain a form, contact us on 9524 3333 or click on the link below.
Council must be notified in writing of changes of ownership on the prescribed form or by providing a current copy of the title. The prescribed forms are a Notice of Disposition (for selling property) and Notice of Acquisition (for buying property). If owners have a solicitor or conveyancer attending to their sale, it is their responsibility to send this notice to us. A vendor or transferor remains liable for all rates and charges until we have received a notice of disposal.
