By law, you may need a planning permit to use and develop land, renovate a building, or make changes on your land. We administer State Government planning controls over the use and development of land within Glen Eira.

For advice on whether a planning permit is required, contact us on 9524 3333. Where a planning permit is required, it is best to arrange a pre-application meeting to discuss the proposal with one of our planning officers. However, it is not our role to develop the application or pre-empt a decision.
