Cool jazz, hot funk, swirly pop and quirky ukele tunes will mix with the delicious aromas from more than a dozen food trucks when Council’s grooviest outdoor event series for 2017–18 continues.

The second event in the popular Groove and Graze series will take place on Sunday 19 November at Hopetoun Gardens in Elsternwick.

From 12pm to 8pm, come and feast your eyes, ears and taste buds at these free family and pet-friendly events in our glorious neighbourhood parks.

Groove and Graze will bring together an exciting line-up of young local musicians, including upbeat seven-piece band Approachable Members of our Local Community and You’re Skitting Me’s star actor, singer and songwriter Jake Fehily.

Recent winners of Council’s Sounds of Glen Eira music event will also feature, including triple j Unearthed indie pop favourites Pilgrim Age, teenage ukele darlings Elyssa and Bec, and McKinnon High’s award-winning outfit Captive.

A selection of craft beers and wines will also be available, along with some of the best of Melbourne’s mobile fare served from food trucks, including falafel, burgers, dumplings, Thai delicacies and Greek sweets.
