Draft Council and Community Plan 2017–2021 — Have Your Say
Published on 03 May 2017
Residents are invited to have their say on the Draft Glen Eira Council and Community Plan 2017–2021.
The Plan, which is available for public comment from Wednesday 3 May until Thursday 1 June, sets a vision for the City of Glen Eira and identifies our goals and aspiration for the next four years. It also provides a guide for individuals, businesses, local groups and other levels of government on strategic priorities for the City.
The Plan is structured around the following five key priority areas and we welcome your feedback.
1. Liveable and well designed
A well planned City that is a great place to be.
2. Accessible and well connected
A City that is easy to move around, with safe travel options and walkable neighbourhoods.
3. Safe, healthy and inclusive
A strong and safe community that brings people together and enhances health and wellbeing.
4. Clean and sustainable
An attractive and sustainable environment for future generations.
5. Informed and engaged
A well governed Council that is committed to transparency and engages residents in decision-making.
