We have a set of local laws and policies which operate to protect the amenity of the City and the safety of all those who come to be in it. These rules cover many aspects of daily life — from practical safety issues to more aesthetic considerations. This website provides information on these rules and requirements — everything from keeping footpaths and walkways clear of debris and vegetation and sharing the available parking fairly and equitably, to reducing risks and hazards and cleaning up after dogs.
