As part of our commitment to upgrade aging infrastructure within Glen Eira’s parks and gardens, master plans have been developed for a number of parks.
The aim of park master plans is to take into consideration the upgrade, replacement or creation of new buildings, landscaping, playgrounds and other facilities for community use. This may include, but is not limited to, multi-purpose sporting facilities, car parks, public conveniences, pathways, public lighting, barbecue and/picnic areas and other recreational facilities, which meet the current and future service requirements of the community.
Our master plans involve extensive community consultation and provide clear direction for the future development and management of Glen Eira’s parks.
