Children immunised overseas
Updating overseas records
Glen Eira City Council’s immunisation team can review your child’s overseas immunisations, add the records to Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) and create a catch-up schedule, if further immunisations are required to meet Australian standards.
Please ensure your child meets the following criteria for this service:
- the child resides in Glen Eira; and
- you will be attending a Council immunisation session for any catch-up immunisations.
Please attach a photo or a scanned copy of the immunisation history and an English translation (if required) and email it to email@example.com
We also require the following information about your child:
- First name and surname
- Date of birth
- Postal address
- Photo of Medicare card (if applicable)
Parent/Guardian please note:
If you intend to have catch-up immunisations completed elsewhere, please seek advice from the provider who will administer the vaccines (eg. doctor or another council).
AIR Immunisation History Statement
You can call AIR on 1800 653 809 to obtain an immunisation history statement. These statements can also be viewed online by going to my.gov.au and signing in to your Medicare online account.
Please note: if your child is not on a Medicare card, the history may take up to six weeks to appear on the Register.
